The JROCKIT or the BEA JRockit is high performance Java virtual Machine exclusively developed to provide scalability, manageability and flexibility for Java applications. The JRockit delivers a new level of performance for Java applications deployed on modern day computing acrchitectures like Intel 32-bit (Xeon) and 64-bit (Xeon and Itanium), and so on. Furthermore, it is the only enterprise-class JVM optimized for Intel architectures, providing seamless interoperability across multiple hardware and operating system configurations.
JRockit JVM makes it possible to gain optimal performance for Java applications when running it on either the Windows or Linux operating system platforms on either 32-bit or 64-bit architectures. The JRockit JVM is one component of the JRockit Java development kit (JDK).
